14. www.korbible.net The Olivet Prophecy (1) Jesus Predicted the Scattering of the Jews “ But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those in Judea flee to the mountains... For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations... ” (Luke 21:20-24) This fulfillment began in AD70 when the Roman armies destroyed Judea and scattered the Jews into all nations.

And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. ” (Luke 21:24) Since AD70, Jerusalem has been dominated by other nations. The city was finally repossessed by the Jews during the “Six Day War” in 1967.

"Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near. " (Luke 21:27-28) The Signs for our generation:  Jerusalem occupied by Jewish People  Distress of Nations  Fear of the outcome of the world
