1 THE UNCHANGING GOSPEL GALATIANS 1:6-9

2 We live in a changing world. The age of change.
Many today think the Bible is outdated. We need a new gospel. There were some who thought the gospel needed to be changed back in the days of Paul. Galatians 1: I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. Malachi 3: "For I am the Lord, I do not change.” Hebrews 13: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Since God does not change, and Christ does not change, then the Gospel should not change.

3 Reasons The Gospel Is Unchangeable
Its Forbidden Galatians 1: But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. It is God’s Word It thoroughly equips. II Timothy 3: All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. Sin has not changed so the Gospel must not change.

4 Man cannot save himself.
The main thing man needs today is the same thing he has needed from the beginning Salvation Man cannot save himself. Proverbs 16: There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. The Gospel saves people. Romans 1: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. James 1: Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

5 How To Preach An Unchanging Gospel
Preach Christ I Corinthians 1: But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. I Corinthians 15: Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Preach His Authority

6 Matthew 17:5 "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased
Matthew 17: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!'' Matthew 28: "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” Colossians 1: And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. Preach His Church Matthew 16: "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

7 The church is the body of Christ.
Ephesians 1: And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Does Christ have many bodies? No I Corinthians 12: But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. He purchased the church with His blood. Acts 20: "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

8 Preach His (the Gospel’s) terms of salvation
Faith in Christ John 8: "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.'' Repentance Acts 17: "Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.''

9 After baptism a person saved.
Confess Christ Matthew 10: "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” Be Baptized Mark 16: "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” Acts 2: "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” After baptism a person saved.

10 The Gospel Also Tells Us What Kind Of Life To Live To Remain Saved
God expects faithfulness after baptism. Revelation 2: Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life. Romans 12: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Titus 2: For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,

11 What is the punishment for not keeping the Gospel?
Accursed Galatians 1: But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. Severed form God II John Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.

12 YOU CANNOT SEPARATE CHRIST FROM HIS GOSPEL
This is not a gospel, but it is The Gospel THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST Acts 4: "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.'' Romans 1: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. YOU CANNOT SEPARATE CHRIST FROM HIS GOSPEL
