3 Tonight Boys – go outside and play games, learn cheers, sing songs. –Lead by Webelos & Leaders. –Playground equipment is OFF-LIMITS! Parents – Learn about Cub Scouting. Ask questions. Sign your son up for fun and excitement.

4 Tiger Cubs 1 st Grade Adult Partner / Boy Team One Den Meeting / 1 Go See It Monthly Pack Meeting (3 rd Tuesday) Complete requirements to advance in rank Search, Discover, Share –Family oriented activities

5 Wolf / Bear Scouts 2 nd Grade – Wolf3 rd Grade - Bear 1 - 2 Den meetings a month Monthly Pack meetings (3 rd Tuesday) Complete requirements to advance in rank Do Your Best –Learn new physical skills –Learn how to get along through group activities –Develop mental skills –Develop personal independence Camping: Lad & Dad, Mom & Me, Mini Webelos

9 Parent’s Role in Scouting Parents are the major source of Scout leadership Scouting is volunteer led Full support and cooperation of every parent is essential Parents can help reduce the load for everyone by serving as den leaders or committee members Parents should participate in and encourage their boys in their advancement

10 You and Your Son Spend quality time with your son. This is the time to build the foundation of your son’s character. Teach him life lessons with fun age appropriate materials. Watch your son have fun & grow Get away from the TV & get outdoors.
