3 Place Physical Characteristics Mountains, Bodies of Water, deserts, plateaus, plains Cultural Characteristics language, religions, customs

4 Human Environment Interaction How have people used their environment? How have people changed their environment?

5 Movement Movement of goods (imports, exports) Movement of people (migration, immigration) Movement of ideas (spread of religion, philosophies, culture etc…)

6 Regions A region is a group of places bound together by one or more similar characteristics. Physical regions Cultural regions Political regions
